Overview

Arrival Day

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport met by our representative then drive to Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha where our safari expert will meet you and give you safari briefing before going to bed for an overnight (BB).

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

    After breakfast, leave the Lodge with your packed lunches and drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. This beautiful park with its lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, takes its name from the Maasai word for “euphorbia tirucalli”, a bush which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. Elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and a variety of antelope inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippos. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an “Acacia tortilis” tree. The birdlife is also abundant, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species. Lunch boxes will be provided to you at the picnic point. Dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel.

  • Day 2: Lake Manyara To Serengeti

    After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority a designated the Unesco World Heritage. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge (optional) where anthropologists Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey made significant discoveries contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park game drive en route arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp.

  • Day 3: Serengeti Full Days

    Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light followed by full day Serengeti National Park tour putting you in a position to see lots of the animals. Serengeti is the name comes from Maasai language meaning endless plain. Therefore is home to many animals including Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Leopard, Cheetah, warthogs, Hyena plus a lots and lots of bird life. In many cases migration is taking place around Serengeti and at that particular time millions of wildebeest and zebra are mingling together followed by predators. Afternoon, return to the Lodge for hot lunch and some rest before embarking for a game drive till evening. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp.

  • Day 4: Serengeti To Northern

    Get breakfast at the lodge followed by game drive to different areas within the park, lunchboxes will be provided to you at the picnic point. Continue with game drives further to northern. Dinner and overnight at Kenzan Luxury Camp.

  • Day 5: Northern Serengeri

    Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning lightfollowed by full day Serengeti National Park tour putting you in a position to see lots of the animals.   • Day 6: Northern Serengeri To Ngorongoro

    You will have breakfast at the lodge before you embark on en route game drive to Ngorongoro .On the way, expect to spot a variety of wildness including Zebras, Wildebeest, Elephants, Jackals, Lions, Cheetah and more others alongside different species of birds. You will continue further to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

    Departure Day

    After breakfast at leisure, afterwards transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport outbound flight.

  • Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater To Arusha

    After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Then late afternoon drive back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Palace Hotel.

    Departure Day

    After breakfast at leisure; afterwards transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for outbound flight.
