Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

Depart Arusha and begin driving toward Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. Lunch boxes will be provided at the picnic point. Enjoy a game drive, then dinner and an overnight at the Camp.

  • Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti

Enjoy breakfast, then drive to Serengeti National Park passing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. Your driver will stop at Ngorongoro so that you can experience the amazing view overlooking the crater. Then, continue to Olduvai Gorge, the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. A picnic lunch will be provided by your driver followed by continual game viewing until you reach the Camp for an overnight.
