Morning pick up from Nairobi and head to Amboseli. Check in to Amboseli Sopa Lodge near Amboseli National Park and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon take a game drive in the Park which contains a broad range of Big Game and wonderful views of Kilimanjaro. Amboseli Sopa Lodge is set within 200 acres of land with mature wooded gardens, home to many bird species as well as monkeys, mongooses, squirrels and even the occasional leopard. It has 83 guest rooms within cottages dotted around the grounds as well as a lobby, restaurant, outside dining terrace, a choice of bars and a swimming pool. Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge
This morning we take an early morning drive in search of Big Game in Amboseli National Park. The Park is home to leopard, lion, cheetah, wild dogs, buffalo, rhino, giraffe, plains game and much more, including large herds of elephant. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and some hours at leisure. After lunch, take another game drive within the Park before later returning to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge
After breakfast we head back towards Nairobi (stop over for lunch) and continue driving through the stunning scenery of Kenya's Great Rift Valley to explore Lake Nakuru National Park. The woodland and grassland surrounding the soda lake are home to an abundance of wildlife including black rhino, white rhino, hippo, leopard, lion and the rare Rothschild giraffe. Return to Flamingo Hill camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve stopping at Narok town for re-fuelling. Arrive in time for lunch and after a brief siesta, proceed on a late afternoon/early evening game drive in the reserve, home to the “Big five” …elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, hippo, impala, gazelle and numerous other wildlife including various species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge
This morning you will be a wakened at dawn and after a cup of tea or coffee you’ll set out at sunrise on an early morning drive. The Mara is magical in the morning: the birds are singing, the morning air smells fresh and cool, and the wildlife is just waking up to greet the day. Zebra’s frolic and greet each other, a pair of jackal’s prance through the grass in search of mice or a rabbit. Baboons charter noisily and giraffe watch you as they nibble on their breakfast of acacia leaves. you may even come across a family feeding together on last night’s kill, or a leopard snoozing on a tree. Return to the lodge for breakfast followed by a further game drive. Lunch at the lodge then a leisure breaks during which you can visit a cultural Masai village to learn the life of typical Maasai Community. Wind up the day with a late afternoon / early evening game drive, returning to Mara Sopa Lodgefor dinner and overnight
After early morning game drive, return to camp for breakfast then check out of the camp and drive to Nairobi arriving in the evening. Spend the night at Meridian Nairobi Hotel
Morning at leisure depending on your flight schedule, check out at the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
