After breakfast at our hotel we depart by road for Lake Naivasha. Our accommodations are located right by Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake.Hell's Gate National Park lies to the south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya, North West of Nairobi. The park which is mainly comprised of savannah ecosystem harbors a wide variety of wildlife. Some of the frequently observed animal species include. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard, and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to klipspringer antelope and Chanler's mountain reedbuck. After game drives, leave and drive further to Lake Naivasha Resort for Dinner and Overnight.
This morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino.Lunch at our Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve – one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see.Residents among the Park's are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles.Overnight at Olmoran Camp
This morning you will be a wakened at dawn and after a cup of tea or coffee you’ll set out at sunrise on an early morning drive. The Mara is magical in the morning: the birds are singing, the morning air smells fresh and cool, and the wildlife is just waking up to greet the day. Zebra’s frolic and greet each other, a pair of jackal’s prance through the grass in search of mice or a rabbit. Baboons charter noisily and giraffe watch you as they nibble on their breakfast of acacia leaves. you may even come across a family feeding together on last night’s kill, or a leopard snoozing on a tree. Return to the lodge for breakfast followed by a further game drive. Lunch at the lodge then a leisure breaks during which you can visit a cultural Masai village to learn the life of typical Maa Community. Wind up the day with a late afternoon / early evening game drive, returning to Olmoran Camp for dinner and overnight
After early morning game drive, return to camp for breakfast then check out of the camp and drive to Nairobi arriving in the evening. Spend the night at Meridian Nairobi Hotel
Morning at leisure depending on your flight schedule, check out at the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
