Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara

Depart from Arusha town at 08:30am with picnic lunches for Tarangire National Park tour. The park is located 120km away from Arusha. It is famed for its congregation of big herds of Elephants and a buffaloes, this landscape of open plains is dotted with thousands of baobabs trees. During game drive you may see zebras, wildebeest, elephant, Maasai giraffe, Baboons, Fringe-eared Oryx and other predators such as Lions, cheetah, leopard even tree climbing python if you are lucky, alongside variety of birds such as the endemic ashy starling, Rufus-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird. Picnic lunch will be provided by your driver Guide at the designed picnic area inside the park. Then late evening drive to Maramboi Tented Lodge www.tanganyikawildernesscamps.com or public campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti

After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge (optional) where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made significant discoveries contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a sunset game drive. Day 3: Full Day Serengeti

Enjoy a fully day Serengeti tour, picnic lunch inside the park, In the Serengeti; with a bit of luck there is a possibility to see the migration of wildebeest and zebras accompanied by predators. Nevertheless you may spot a pride of lion on hunt and many other species of birds including the Kori bustard famed as the heaviest flying bird in the world also troops of baboons can be spotted on move. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful crater tour with a picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world a designated Unesco World Heritage; It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Then late afternoon drive back to Arusha for overnight at Kibo palace hotel (BB) www.kibopalacehotel.com

Departure Day

After breakfast at leisure, afterwards transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport outbound flight.
