This 12 days family safari and Zanzibar beach holiday involves game drives and game viewings in some of the best wildlife national parks in Tanzania including the beautiful Tarangire popular known for its great herds of huge Elephants and baobab trees and the Serengeti national park where the famous wildlife documentary; Serengeti shall not die was filmed by Bernhard Grzimek and Michael Grzimek 1959. Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, encompassing some of the densely wild animals that can be easily spotted on game drives including; Wildebeests, elephants, Zebras, girafes and prides of Lions, Cheetahs and many small to large sized animals and plentiful of birdlife species. On your safari, you will also interact with local people in Lake Eyasi and Ngorongoro where you will learn, explore and experience the best of African culture. Accommodations are in Luxury and kids friendly lodges and tented camps, most of them featured with swimming pools and all the necessary facilities to keep children safe and entertained. And later, you will fly to Zanzibar spicy island for beach holiday.

Day 1: Arusha To Tarangire Np For Photographic Game Drives

In the morning after healthy breakfast from the kitchen of professional Cooks, you will embark to Tarangire national park for authentic photographic game drives and game drives. Tarangire is Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are also an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Your photography game drives may reveal lions, giraffes, wildebeest, elephants, Zebras, wildebeests and much more. Lunchboxes shall be served to you by your driver guide at the picnic site inside the park with some rest before proceeding with photography game drives. Later after amazing hours of exploration and authentic shots of nature and its content, you will exit the park and drive to Karatu for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight at The Retreat at Ngorongoro

Day 2: Tarangire To Serengeti Np Via Ngorongoro Conservation Area

This morning, your drives takes you to the Serengeti national park via the "eighth wonder of the world", popular Known as the Ngorongoro. Your driver guide shall be stopping in some if the beautiful views overlooking the crater for viewing and sightseeing. Animals like Giraffes, Elephants, Wildebeests, Gazelles, Zebras, Lions, and Buffaloes may be revealed in Ngorongoro. Optional On your way, you can either decide visiting the Oldupai Gorge site for a museum tour. This is an archaeological museum where the remains and signs of the first man which were Discovered by Dr Leakey and Marry Luice are preserved. Or you can visit Maasai Boma in Ngorongoro Conservation for an authentic cultural tour with the Maasai people. On crossing the border, picnic lunches will be served to you followed by game drives en route to your Camp for Dinner and Overnight Matawi Serengeti Tented Camp

Day 3-4: Full Day Game Drives In Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart with your packed lunches for the “Great Serengeti game drives”, likely the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. The vast Serengeti plains cover an area of over 14,763 square kilometres and derived its name from Maasai Language meaning endless plain. This massive plain is home to many animals including Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Leopard, and Cheetah, warthogs, Hyena plus a lots and lots of bird life live here. In many cases migration is taking place around Serengeti and at that particular time millions of wildebeest and zebra mingle together followed by predators. Our professional safari guide will lead you through the right trails and amaze you his skills in locating and interpreting wildlife behaviors and their lives in general making sure you have the best time to enjoy these great phenomenon. Day 5: Game Drives In Serengeti, Overnight In Ngorongoro

Every day is a new day in Serengeti with different amazing series of events. After breakfast, you will leave the camp/lodge with your packed lunches for another memorable day towards the Ngorongoro conservation area. On this day still you will have a great opportunity to explore the Serengeti ecosystem with great possibility to spot any other animals that you did not see in your first days. Lunchboxes shall be served to you at the picnic point followed by a further game drive to famous Ngorongoro conservation area for Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge

Day 6: Game Drives In Ngorongoro Crater. Later, Drive To Lake Eyasi

Early in morning and after breakfast, leave the lodge with your packed lunches ready for another exciting day. Today your expert safari guide will lead you down the Ngorongoro crater for a wonderful photographic game drives. The Ngorongoro crater is the 8th wonder of the Natural World, spreading over 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually a Noah's ark like, it is inhabited by almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa including the rare and endangered black rhinos, other animals that can be revealed on your game drives are Elands, Lions, Waterbucks, Wildebeests, Hyenas, jackals, African Elephants, Buffaloes, Secretive leopards, Cheetahs, hippos and many more alongside hundreds of bird species eg. Maasai Ostrich, Kori bustard, Ibis, Starlings etc. Lunchboxes shall be served to you at the picnic point inside the crater. Later ascend the crater walls and drive to Lake Eyasi for Dinner and Overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Cultural Activities In Lake Eyasi

The hadzabe are an indigenous ethnic group of people found in central rift valley in Lake Eyasi. They are among very few tribes in Tanzania that still live their natural and primitive life. The Hadzabe are not closely related to any of the tribes in Tanzania but their life style resembles the Bushmen of Kalahari. Hadzabe mostly depend on traditional hunting and wild fruits gathering for their daily living. Their history and traditional way of life is authentic amazing to learn, explore and experience theoretically and practically. Hadzabe are kind hearted and welcoming people, ready to share their valued history, culture, taboos, traditions and customs. Everything will be naturally locally organized just to give you a genuine feelings and image of the ever lived African ancestors. Have you ever gone on traditional hunting with bows, arrows, spears and clubs accompanied by dogs as your back up army? It sounds fun stalking at agile Dik dik or setting ambush on African hare; despite of learning their history, experiencing their daily lives, embarking on hutting, fruit gathering and nature expeditions, you will also have a chance to learn different uses of plants as food and medicines. Day 8: Karatu To L. Manyara Nataional Park For Game Drives To Arusha

After breakfast, leave the lodge with your packed lunches, drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. This beautiful park with its lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant figs, took its name from the Maasai word for "euphorbia tirucalli", a bush which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. Elephant, giraffe, buffalo, groups of hippos, zebras even the tree climbing lions can be spotted lazily resting on the branches of an "Acacia tortilis" tree. The birdlife is also abundant, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species. Lunch at the picnic point. Later drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Gold Crest Hotel

Day 9: Flight Arusha To Zanzibar

Breakfast at leisure; afterwards transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, upon arrival, you will be picked up by our representative followed by a private transfer to My Blue Hotel

Day 10-11: Relaxing On The Soft Sandy Beach Of Zanzibar

Relax and enjoy the beaches of Zanzibar to the extent. Or request for any other activity of your interest and make your Zanzibar holiday more awesome and memorable. Note: Kindly contact the hotel for any other additional activities in Zanzibar. Overnight at My Blue Hotel

Day 12: Stone Town And Spice Tour

After breakfast transfer to Stone town for our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People's Palace) and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar's bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques! Afterwards you proceed to the famous Spice Plantations where we invite for an opulent lunch for you to taste the spices and fruits. . Afterwards you will do the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking.
